Family Office, Arts Manager/Curator – Summary
The ideal candidate will be a considered, dynamic thinker who wants to contribute to the
formation of a leading art collection with high social impact. Working with the Executive
Director and Founder, they will contribute to the shaping of the collection’s strategy and
budget, catalogue works, manage logistics and drive collaborative projects in the art-for-
impact sector.
The ideal candidate hails from a background in the arts, either from the art market or the
curatorial sector, has exceptional interpersonal skills and commercial acumen. They should
be keen to initiate and deliver new projects and further the mission and values of the Family Office.
Desired skills and experience
- Degree in Art History or extensive equivalent experience
- Minimum of ten years’ experience of arts administration or curation
- Experience with the care and handling of art works
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clarity and accuracy in written communication
- Strong knowledge of contemporary artistic practices and debates, especially in relation to gender and racial equity
- Proven track record of conceiving and organising successful exhibitions for diverse audiences
- Experience of developing, communicating, and managing projects, budgets and goals
- Self-directed and motivated
- Maintain the highest professional and ethical standards
- High level of IT proficiency and willingness to adopt new technology
Employment terms and renumeration
- £50,000+ pa, pro-rata
- Permanent, 3 days per week initially
- Reporting to Executive Director and Founder
- Access to Family Office’s office space in central London
- Evening event attendance and travel, on occasion
